Scenario - Creating a Wayground with Google Slides

If you make a change to the Google slides once you have created it, you may get an error and it will not allow you to publish.  One way to address this, (after clearing your cache, updating Chrome and restarting Chrome) would be to click edit on the activity and see if there is an update button available.  Click the update button and then attempt to publish again.  This worked for a teacher in Oct 2025.
